Dogma
From the lowly streets as an orphan to throne of the Malestrom itself, Fitztier is one of the few men to say they have actually won at the game of life. From lifting the coin purses of haughty nobles to stealing the essence of the old gods, Fitztier has risked it all on a whim for no more than a laugh and a rush of excitement. Admonished in ages past for usurping the portfolio aspects of other ancient deities, that knowledge has mostly fallen to the wayside. He is now seen as a jovial character that stresses not taking life to seriously for it is just a grand game. It will end in some way for everyone, so don’t fret over it. Those that are stuck up probably need a kick in the pants to loosen them up, and the followers of Fitztier are probably just the people to do it. A life without laughter is no life at all. Take a chance, take a trip, take a bet.
Clergy and Temples
There are very few clerics of Fitztier. Those that do take the title usually push the aspects Trade, Travel, and Luck while downplaying the Thievery bit.
There are only a few temples to Fitztier. Two or three can be found along the great trade route flowing out of Northern Ceriana. In fact, it is not uncommon for a traveling temple to follow along with the main caravan for a few months each year. A unusually large temple to Fitztier is one of the few in the halfling lands of Home. Small shrines are sometimes erected at dock sides or crossroads. Travelers and traders sometimes leave a coin for luck on their journeys. Often enough other travelers consider it good luck to find a coin at one of these shrines and even luckier if they can take it without anyone seeing.
Children’s Rhyme
Fitzy-Witzy was a man, then he got a little plan. By being a clever sneaky sod, he pulled a trick and became a god.
