Sunshine On His Mind -Game 5 Bishop

Cory threw his last bag full of gravel and old beans into the wooden bucket sitting at the bottom of the trash heap. Kolbus was so close to winning his second event before an ill timed slip left an opening for Chez to claim the trash mountain. All in all, it was shaping up to be a fun night. It was good to relax for a little bit. The last 24 hours were hectic and still fresh in his mind amidst the revelry and all of the recent change. Two new people were snoring in the flat and Cory still was unsure about both of them despite how good the potion might have made him feel for a period. Still nothing compared to Sunshine. It was on his mind both to sneak away to experience that rush again, but also looking for a perspective buy to maybe contribute to their purse. What did a perspective buyer even look like? He tried to think of other people he had seen buying from Mr. Snow and make a profile in his head. He glanced around and realized no one fit that profile from the nice side of the city obviously, even while dressed in the Rust’s finest. He would have to think of something else to identify buyers with. Although today was the big day of meeting the Clippers supposedly, and that would undoubtedly involve some type of job or test of loyalty before they could gain any information. He knew the clock was ticking with Taven and thus with them. His ticket out of here might be showing up tomorrow though with the potential expansion into selling sunshine for more than moonsnow, which also raised the question of…where is it still coming from? He was hoping for scarcity for his own selfish goals, but also worried that if the Grinners hadn’t been crippled, would they abduct kids again? Too many questions and no more answers than any other day since he arrived in the Rust. He needed the questions to stop. They were riddles to him that kept him up at night and normally he was good at riddles, but these riddles were foreign to him. Gangs, drugs, shady characters…these were a far cry from his previous life.
