Three men, a mine, and a benefactor Conwyn

In the rugged terrain of the Misty Peak Mountains, three young men toiled under the weight of their past mistakes. Cory Ald, Kolbus de Tremalgan, and Simon Bernfall had all been convicted of crimes that led them to a life of enslavement in the treacherous mines. Each of them had a story of misfortune and regret that brought them to this desolate place.

Meanwhile, in the vibrant city of Silverbrook, a man of power and influence named Tavon Rotchford maneuvered through the intricate webs of politics and intrigue. As the right hand of Lord Edmund Harrington, Tavon was accustomed to performing the clandestine tasks necessary for the fulfillment of their shared ambitions. His keen eye for talent had propelled him to notice the three men during a business trip to the mining town of Vethord.

Tavon recognized their potential and saw an opportunity to shape their futures to his advantage. With his sway and connections, he negotiated their freedom from the oppressive chains that bound them. However, their newfound liberation came with a price. Tavon made it clear that in exchange for their freedom, they would be indebted to him and Lord Harrington, their futures and fortunes tied to their service.

Returning to the city of Silverbrook, Tavon settled the three men in a modest flat located at the crossroads of the Rust slums, Miner’s Row, and Haven’s Reach—a bustling section of the city where the common folk dwelled. Providing them with a meager sum of money and fresh clothing, he informed them that their lives were now intertwined with his plans. They would be contacted soon with their first task, one that would solidify their place in Tavon’s intricate web of influence.  Cory, Kolbus, and Simon found themselves caught between gratitude for their newfound freedom and the weight of their obligations. As they navigated the vibrant streets of Silverbrook, they witnessed the stark contrast between the posh wealthy and the struggle of the less fortunate common folk. The city held both opportunity and danger, and they knew they had little choice but to follow Tavon’s orders.

Days turned into weeks as the three men adapted to their new lives. They honed what little skills they had, knowing that they would need to prove their worth to Tavon and Lord Harrington. They mingled with the common folk, listening to their tales of hardship and injustice, understanding the delicate balance of power within the city.  Amidst the bustling streets and secret dealings, the trio discovered that they were not alone in their allegiance to Tavon. Others served him faithfully, each with their own story and purpose. The city became a maze of hidden agendas and whispered conversations, a world where loyalty could be bought and secrets were currency.

Little did they know that the path laid before them would lead to perilous adventures, unlikely alliances, and a test of their own morality. Bound to Tavon and Lord Harrington, they would soon discover that their journey was just beginning—a journey that would challenge their beliefs, unravel their pasts, and forge their destinies in the heart of a city teeming with secrets. The fates of Cory, Kolbus, and Simon were now intertwined with the shadowy machinations of power and influence, forever tied to the ambitions of a man who had the power to shape their lives in ways they could not yet comprehend.
