Layward is the god of Exploration and Travel. His clergy is not well organized and mostly his worshipers are adventures or those about to leave on a long trips. Prayers for Layward’s guidance are common across the land, and many stop to say a quick prayer at one of his numerous roadside shrines.
Dogma:
The holy word of Layward isn’t extensive by any means. His main teachings are that everyone should have a few miles of dust on their boots. He instills the drive to lend aid to fellow travelers who ask for it. By aiding those also on the road it encourages others to travel and find new and exciting things in this wonderful world. Never stop exploring the unknown.
Clergy and Temples:
Few temples are built to Layward yet he has many small shrines along roadsides and crossroads. His clerics normally are constantly on the move pushing themselves to emulate the ever wandering of their deity. There are a select group who have taken up the act of exploration and call themselves the Wayward Path. They gather together to exchange notes, maps, and information about different far off locations. The group pools resources to help fund grander, and grander ventures into the unknown of Alduras.
